Direct Reduced Iron (DRI):
Midrex technology is mostly used to revive the pellet in Iran. This method is the direct regeneration of iron ore pellets with broken gases. So that the natural gas first enters the gas cracking unit (reformer) and due to heat and the presence of special catalysts, it is broken and decomposed into H2 and CO.
